So, I haven't been keeping up with my er Summer Slimdown. I know. Bad Dara, BAD! It turns out that losing weight is actually really hard. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! I'm learning to take baby steps and that weight will not just "fall off" as said in many weight loss commercials.

This morning, I got up at 5am--OK, 5:30am--and hit the mat. The yoga mat. I only lasted 10 minutes and then decided it was breakfast time. Like I said, baby steps people. BABY-STEPS. My goal tomorrow is to last the a full 30 minutes.

I've come to terms with the fact that it may take me a year to reach my "goal weight"... whatever that is. I don't know. I haven't stepped on a scale since my last check-up. So SUMMER SLIMDOWN may turn into SKINNY-BITCH-MODE.

Any tips my friends?
